Meet the Doctors
Dr. Joseph Augello
Dr. Augello earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Wagner College in Staten Island, New York. He then earned a Degree in Veterinary Medicine from Ross University, St. Kitts - West Indies in 2007. He completed his clinical rotations at Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine 2006-2007 and also completed an externship at Redbank Animal Hospital, New Jersey, in both Dentistry and Exotic medicine.
Dr. Augello is a native Staten Islander. After graduating Veterinary School, he returned to his childhood home to begin his career in the borough where he grew up. He began practicing medicine at Northside Animal Hospital in Staten Island, where he saw a variety of pets including many species of birds and exotics. He then made the move across the Verrazano and joined the staff of St. Francis Animal Hospital in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. Dr. Augello is looking forward to returning to Staten Island once again, bringing his knowledge of small animal and exotic medicine and surgery to many new clients while hopefully reuniting with his previous patients as well.
